...Smell My Feet...

Well, well, well... been gettin' a lot of copy concerning the reposting of certain 'Auditory Materials' from last Halloween. And while I appreciate the business, here's the thing, part of my absence has been due to the general apathy that accompanies divshare summarily deleting a bunch of my audio files, which with the destruction of my last laptop, are all but gone the way of the dodo bird. Sucks to be sure, but the self- imposed exile has seen many new / old p.o.s. records come across my desk, not to mention a 4th quarter 'Hail Mary' in the form of my old cell phone which just so happens to contain some of last years Halloween input. Download em' while you can before divshare has another crisis of conscience, or I get another cease and desist order from a washed up ax-hanger w/ delusions of grandeur. And stay tuned for the 3rd annual BFTRB Halloween Spectacular! It's gonna be killer!

BFTRB Presents: Cha Cha Challoween!

BFTRB Presents: Even A Mix That is Pure of Hearts and Says It's Prayers By Night Will Become a Wolf When the Wolfsbane Blooms, and the Autumn Moon is Bright.

BFTRB Presents: She's A Haunted Beatty Boop!

Thanks so much for the reposts. I can't wait to hear your third annual halloween shares.

Thanks again.

No problem. I've got some real obscure Halloween junk comin' up, and it ain't from the bottom of the barrel, neither.

DivShare is in Texas; People have had no problems (yet) with MegaUpload, which is in Hong Kong. Lots of problems with RapidShare (Switzerland).

The international Music Nazi organizations have amassed quite a budget and now have been using some kind of web spiders to read the file names that are uploaded.
They can also "sense" hyperlinks, so start putting a non-click on link in the comments.
Using a "re-directing" link between your blog and the uploaded file disables them from tracking you backward from the upload server.
They also go through blog directories like Totally Fuzzy (so eliminate any links from things like that).
-- it's a pain, but their C&Ds are getting more serious.

Also, Google has plans to launch a service similar to iTunes and has been obliterating music blogs.

It seems that all the bloggers are going private.
If you go private, too, please send me an invite.

Good to know. I've been kinda ambivilent about it cause it's a hobby. Should I go private I will let you know, though I suppose the day it becomes that big a pain in the ass will probably become the day I pack it in.

,,,I think the idea is to go private BEFORE it becomes a pain in the ass.
This is supposed to be enjoyable.

BTW, is there really an "I Saw Elvis In The Waffle House" record, or was that an April Fools joke?
