Since you asked...
First. I'm not a Republican. I'm a conservative, mainly because I am just old enough and saddled with just enough responsibilities to not have the luxury of principals.
Second. Yup, I have known several people who have had abortions and I can't say I give a shit one way or another (Not quite sure what that has to do w/ anything anyway).
Third. You are correct, all politicians are opportunistic cock-bags, but generally they are able to hide it well enough, but changing party affiliations after 30 years does not exactly scream integrity to me.
